ESLP Projest Semester 2

In the first semester I had decided to try out this second harvest food bank for my grade in Biology class in 2016 and I have decided to revisit it because of how fun it was to do just due to the fact that I am helping peoples lives. Here are some pictures of how this process went through... this was a picture of me at the bank last time.

this is what I had in my house and had to go out to the store to go gather more food because the more food you donate, the more lives you save. Here is what I ended up with for donating the food

This is all of what I have for this post. If I had to do this for a third time, I would because of how simple to the point it is.
On the 14th of March I had got the food at safeway
On the 15th of March I had delivered the food to the bank
and on the 17th of March I had made this post right here showing proof of that I went to the bank.
I had spent around 15$ on the food what I had used to donate to the bank.

ESLP Short Write Up

 In our ESLP we had to contribute food to the second harvest food bank and for me it was a good thing to contribute something to the community.  Our project was to bring food to the second harvest food bank.  When I contributed to this project I knew I would be helping people who don't exactly have food. I think the effort I put into this could contribute to some one be happy rather than someone being hungry and sad.  If I had to choose to do this again, I would gladly do it.

Today we went and drove to the second harvest food bank today and we where able to deliver our food to the center.

In my own words The ESLP project means to me that we can all do something to help the community and make a big impact, small or large.Our project is about delivering fruits to the second harvest food bank that we have gathered from people in the community. I chose this project because I want to give back to a community that has given me so much and there is no better way to do it then help the needy. I learned a lot during this project and the most important thing is that not everyone in my community is as lucky as me and I should do anything I can to help. I believe that this project will help other humans because it will give food and nutrition to those who don't have enough money to get it themselves.

Picking day 2

Today we went to a friends house to pick oranges and grapefruits. We went with trash bags and gloves to pick the foods and we picked a lot, both the bags were full half way. This Monday or Tuesday we will deliver it to the second harvest food bank.

Picking day

Today we went waling around trying to find fruits and vegetables to pick. In the beginning it was pretty hard because there was not a lot of gardens or houses with fruit in the front. We finally can upon someone who let us pick from there front yard and we got apples and oranges from there tree. I keep all of the fruits and vegetables in my refrigerator at home.
